history
Tullnau was originally a corridor area. The Goldbach was dammed in the middle of the 14th century , creating a pond in this corridor area. This served to operate a mill. In 1465 a mill with a hammer mill was mentioned for the first time, which was subordinate to the Nuremberg patricians Usefulel . From 1502 it was used as a paper mill .
Towards the end of the 18th century there were 3 properties in Tullnau (1 manor house, 1 paper mill, 1 house). The high court exercised the imperial city of Nuremberg , which was disputed by the Brandenburg-Ansbach offices of Schwabach and Schönberg . The sole landlord was the office of the forts of the imperial city of Nuremberg.
As part of the municipal edict, Tullnau was assigned to the Gleißhammer tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Gleißhammer founded in the same year .
In 1899 Tullnau was incorporated into Nuremberg . During the Second World War, the mill and the associated restaurant were destroyed.

The Nürnberg-Dürrenhof stop is an S-Bahn stop in Nuremberg and part of the Nuremberg Central Station . It lies on the Nuremberg – Feucht and Nuremberg – Schwandorf railway lines and is between the districts of Gleißbühl / Tullnau in the north and St. Peter in the south. It is divided into station category 5 and has a 147 m long and 96 cm high central platform. The stop is served by the S-Bahn lines S1 (Bamberg - Nuremberg - Hartmannshof) and S2 (Roth - Nuremberg - Altdorf), and there are also transfer options to tram line 5 and city bus lines 36 and 94.
history
The stop was opened on September 29, 1990 by the Deutsche Bundesbahn . The reasons for its construction were the forecast passenger volume and the planned link between the S1 line and the S2 line, which was then under construction, as the two lines between the main station and the intersection-free route to the east of the station in the direction of Feucht and Lauf - Schwandorf run on a common trunk line .
