The Nürnberg-Rehhof stop is an S-Bahn station in Nuremberg , is on the Nuremberg – Schwandorf railway line and is in the east of the city in the Rehhof district . It is divided into station category 6 and has two 120 m long and 96 cm high outer platforms. The stop is served by the S1 (Bamberg - Nuremberg - Hartmannshof). There are 85 B + R parking spaces for commuters.
The opening of the stop by the Deutsche Bundesbahn took place on September 26, 1987 with the start of operations on the first Nuremberg S-Bahn line. In the course of the construction work for the S1 extension towards Hartmannshof, the platforms were lengthened to 140 meters in 2010 and the tracks were raised to a platform height of 76 cm.
