The Katzwang station is an S-Bahn station in Nuremberg and is located on the Nuremberg – Roth railway line and is located outside the center of Katzwang on Wolkersdorfer Straße. It is divided into station category 6 and has one track with a 145 m long and 96 cm high side platform. The infrastructure also includes a P + R parking lot with 30 and a bicycle shed with 36 spaces. The stop is served by the S-Bahn line S2 (Roth - Nuremberg - Altdorf).

Platform 1

The stop was opened by K.Bay.Sts.B and was originally on the Treuchtlingen – Nuremberg railway line . For the third S-Bahn line, the construction of which began in 1994, the stop was relocated to the separately built S-Bahn track and opened to traffic on June 9, 2001 when the S-Bahn began operating.
