The list of train stations in Nuremberg contains all train stations (Bf) and breakpoints (Hp) that are or have been in the city of Nuremberg . Nuremberg is the second largest railway junction in Bavaria ; there are now 22 operating and 14 closed passenger stations in the city . Today, numerous stations in Nuremberg are only served by the Nuremberg S-Bahn . In Nuremberg there are currently eleven railway stations used by freight traffic , the largest freight yard is the Nuremberg marshalling yard . All operating train stations and stops are maintained by the train station management of Deutsche Bahn (DB AG) in Nuremberg and are integrated into the tariff system of the Verkehrsverbund Großraum Nürnberg (VGN). They are served by at least one of the lines of the R- and S-Bahn and often also offer transfer options to one of the underground , tram or bus lines of Nuremberg's city traffic .

  • S : If there is an S in this column, the station is served by S-Bahn trains of the Nuremberg S-Bahn .
  • Notes : Notes on the history of the station are given here.
  • District : This column shows the district in which the station is located.
  • Image : Here is an image, if there is one.
  • Link : Link to the respective entry in the Deutsche Bahn station database on bahnhof.de. The link also serves as proof of the information given in the line and also provides an overview plan.
