Marshalling yard is the name of Statistical District 41 in the southeast of Nuremberg . It belongs to the statistical district 4 (southern outer city).

The marshalling yard district is located in the south-east of Nuremberg, about 5 kilometers from the city center, in the southern part includes the facilities of the Nuremberg shunting yard . The much larger northern area around Brunecker Straße has been largely fallow for many years. The former freight yard ( Nürnberg Südbahnhof ) was used as a scrap yard after it was closed.
