Uhlandstraße is part of the Nuremberg district gardens behind the fortress and the name of the statistical district 25 in the northwest of the wider inner city belt .

The statistical district 25 (Uhlandstrasse) borders in the south on district 8 (Pirckheimerstrasse), in the east on district 26 (Maxfeld), is in the west by Bucher Strasse, in the north by Nordring, in the east by Rollnerstrasse and in the south by limited by Meuschelstrasse and Archivstrasse. The term “ gardens behind the fortress ” is often used for this north inner city area, which, in addition to the Uhlandstrasse district, also includes parts of Maxfeld and Pirckheimerstrasse .
