history

Reichelsdorf, whose name goes back to a Richolt , is first mentioned in 1299 in connection with a Sifrit von Reicholtsdorf . The ministerial family von Reichelsdorf (or Reichersdorf) sat around 1300 on the Reichsforsthube zu Reichelsdorf and was probably of the same tribe as the ministerials from Eibach. They were probably servants of the ministerial family Rindsmaul , who was named in 1391 as the feudal lord of the "dwelling" in Reichelsdorf.

Conrad Waldstromer came into possession of the Reichelsdorfer Mühle (today's Mühlhof) in 1336. The Waldstromers sold it in 1539 together with other possessions and the manor in Reichelsdorf to the Margraves of Ansbach . From then on, the high court was exercised by the imperial city of Nuremberg , and municipal authority was incumbent on the Schwabach caste office . The mansion was acquired in 1921 by the manufacturer Hans Durban. Today it is owned by a private person who is renovating it.

In 1796 Reichelsdorf came under the administration of Prussia , from 1806 to the Kingdom of Bavaria and together with Gerasmühle, Koppenhof and Lohhof formed a community from 1808. With the opening of the Ludwig-Süd-Nord-Bahn between Nuremberg and Schwabach on April 1, 1849, this received a stop in Reichelsdorf. On June 15, 1922, it was incorporated into Nuremberg and on January 15, 1923, with the opening of the first Nuremberg bus routes, it was connected to local transport.
