The former district of gardens near Wöhrd borders the city park in the north, Berliner Platz in the northeast and Rennweg in the east . The southeastern border is formed by Veilhof and the Wöhrder See , in the south are areas of Wöhrd . Laufertorgraben, Rathenauplatz and Maxtorgraben border the area to the west.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 6 properties in gardens near Wöhrd and 10 properties in Auf der Mistgruben. The high court exercised the imperial city of Nuremberg , but this was disputed by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Oberamt Baiersdorf . The sole landlord was the land tax office of the imperial city of Nuremberg.
In 1810 gardens near Wöhrd became part of Bavaria . As part of the municipal edict, the tax district gardens near Wöhrd was formed in 1813 . In the same year, the rural community gardens at Wöhrd was formed, which was congruent with the tax district. It was subordinate to the Nuremberg Regional Court in administration and jurisdiction and to the Erlangen Rent Office for financial administration . In the voluntary jurisdiction, 1 property from 1825 to 1836 was subject to the Fischbach Patrimonial Court and 2 properties from 1821 to 1834 to the Lohe and Behringersdorf Patrimonial Court . On October 1, 1825, gardens near Wöhrd were incorporated into Nuremberg .
