history

The place was first mentioned in a document in 1287 as "Holzheim" when the Deutschordenskommende Nürnberg u. a. bought a farm in Holzheim. The other farm was acquired by Irmgart von Sülzburg, which she exchanged for another property with the Teutonic Order in 1306.

In 1732 there were 3 properties in Holzheim, according to the descriptions of the upper office by Johann Georg Vetter , all of which were subordinate to the Teutonic Order of Nuremberg. At the end of the 18th century there were also 3 properties in Holzheim (1 whole courtyard, 2 half courtyards). The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Schwabach . The place did not have a congregation ruler. All properties had the Teutonic Order Coming of Nuremberg as landlord . In 1800 there were still 3 properties in the village that were subject to the Teutonic Order.

In 1808, as part of the community edict, Holzheim was assigned to the Dietersdorf tax district , 1st section. It also belonged to the Dietersdorf rural community formed in 1818 . On October 14, 1959, the community was renamed Wolkersdorf . On July 1, 1972, Holzheim was incorporated into Nuremberg as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
