The middle mill is a place of Nuremberg .

geography

The former wasteland on the Gründlach has now opened up as house number 2 on Mittelmühlweg.

history

The Mittelmühle was first documented in 1363. Downstream is the Königs- or Untermühle , upstream is the Obermühle .

Towards the end of the 18th century, the Mittelmühle belonged to Kleingründlach . The high court exercised the imperial city of Nuremberg , which was disputed by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Oberamt Baiersdorf . The Siechkobel St. Johannis of the imperial city of Nuremberg held the manorial rule over the mill. Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Bayreuth, the Mittelmühle was given house number 5 in the town of Kleingründlach.

As part of the community edict, Kleingründlach was assigned to the Eltersdorf tax district formed in 1811 . It also belonged to the rural community of Eltersdorf , which was founded in the same year . In 1912 Mittelmühle was reassigned to Großgründlach .

On July 1, 1972, the central mill was in the course of administrative reform in Bavaria after eingemeindet Nuremberg .
