Incorporation into the city of Nuremberg
Before 1825, the urban area of Nuremberg comprised an area of 160.84 hectares. From 1825 onwards, numerous formerly independent municipalities and districts or parts thereof were incorporated into the independent city of Nuremberg. Some areas have also been outsourced ( see also: incorporation ).
