Fischbach (municipality-free area)
The community-free area Fischbach , also called Staatsforst Fischbach , is located in the central Franconian district of Nürnberger Land in Bavaria .

The 18.37 km² large state forest is the part of the Lorenzer Reichswald to the south and east of Fischbach and west of Brunn . The eastern border is a line from Brunn to Birnthon , the southern border is roughly the A 6 motorway . The A 9 runs through the area; In the south, the federal highway 4 coming from Nuremberg ends at the Nürnberg-Fischbach junction . The district road LAU 13 crosses it in an east-west direction . The Hutberg ( 49 ° 24 '29.56 " N , 11 ° 12' 18.47" O ) is 407 m above sea level. NN the highest elevation. A large part is part of the EU bird sanctuary area Nuremberg Reichswald .

Forest district landmarks
