Haimendorfer Forest

Location of the Haimendorfer Forst in the district of Nürnberger Land

The Haimendorfer Forst is a municipality-free area in the central Franconian district of Nürnberger Land .

The 7.53 square kilometer state forest is divided into two areas. The larger part lies south of Schwaig , the smaller west of Diepersdorf in the Lorenzer Reichswald .

The A9 motorway runs between the two areas .

Waters

The western area is traversed in the northeast by the Schneidersbach and the Röthenbach , in the eastern part the two right tributaries of the Röthenbach, the Finstergraben and the Geißgraben with its upper reaches, the Roggenbach, run.
