coat of arms

The basic element of the coat of arms - black and silver with a jumping sighthound - is the family coat of arms of the founder of the Rückersdorfer Church, Eberhard Peringerstorfer († 1447). His tombstone is in the Evangelical Church of St. Georg in Rückersdorf. The small red shield with the silver sloping bar is the seal of an "Albertus de Rukerstorf". This comes from a family of Reich ministries of the 13th century, which named itself after its seat - Rückersdorf. The imperial colors red and silver refer to the former imperial freedom of the place.

Buildings

Rückersdorf can boast a stone-faced church that was fundamentally renewed in the Baroque period, but its core is medieval, in a likewise baroque walling.

From 1542–1750 the manor belonged to the property of the Nürnberger Tucher and 1750–1820 of the Haller von Hallerstein .
