Günthersbühl forest

The Günthersbühler Forst is a municipality-free area in the central Franconian district of Nürnberger Land .

The 5.92 km² large state forest is a part of the Sebalder Reichswald north of Schwaig and Rückersdorf .

In the north, the districts border the municipality of Lauf an der Pegnitz , in the south the Rückersdorfer and the Behringersdorfer Forst , in the south-west the Erlenstegen forest , in the east Geschaidt .

Through the area a runs in a north-south direction county road between the Laufer district Günthersbühl and the municipality Schwaig.

Waters

At the northwest corner of the area, the Simmelberger Gründlach flows over the Gründlach to the Regnitz . The Steinberggraben arises at about 352  m above sea level. NHN northeast of the Hinterer Steinberg ( 405  m above sea level ), the border ditch is created at about 380  m above sea level. NHN on the south-eastern slope of the Hinteren Steinberg and is almost until the end the municipality boundary between the Günthersbühler and the Rückersdorfer forest. Both drain into the eastern Bitterbach .
