history
Manorial rule
On a map from 1589 a pond house can be seen, which was surrounded by a wide moat and a wall. The property also included a gardener's house, an orchard and two trout ponds. In 1666 the "herrnhauß or schloßel, as it stands in weyer" was owned by the Pfinzing family . 1663 Martin Seifried Pfinzing sold the manor Happurger the emigrated for religious reasons to Nuremberg exiles Johann Seifried Leininger of worries village, former tutor of the Duke of Württemberg Manfred, who died before the 1670th Then his widow Eva Sophia, probably born Brand von Neidstein, married Johann Georg von Preysing zu Lichtenegg. In 1700 the estate was "completely collapsed and ruined" and was sold to the Reicheneck keeper Gottlieb Tucher . The old pond house is likely to have been demolished in the first years of the 18th century.
In 1701/02, Tucher had a two-story mansion with a gable roof built in the neighboring garden (the Tucherschloss , Hauptstrasse 9), which he and his wife Maria Jakobina, née von Hardesheim, used for occasional summer stays. The lord of the castle, who served for many years as an officer in the army of the Franconian district and fought in the War of the Spanish Succession, did not die in old age until 1742. The property fell to his son Carl Benedikt Tucher, married to Maria Katharina Ebner von Eschenbach . When Carl Benedikt died in 1750, he was inherited by his widow and daughter Maria Jakobina, who had married Johann Georg Haller von Hallerstein . After the death of Johann Sigmund Haller von Hallerstein, who had inherited his grandmother Maria Katharina Tucher, the property was sold in several parts to the highest bidders by Haller's community of heirs in 1811. The "Hallerische Schloß" was bought by Georg Fuchs, who gave it to his foster daughter Walburga Meier in 1831. In 1875 Johann Georg Fuchs took over the property, in 1919 his daughter and her husband Benedikt Müller. The Tucherschloss is still owned by the family's heirs and was given an award-winning renovation in 2004/2005. It was found that the plaster design of the façades from the construction period was largely preserved under a modern layer of cement plaster. The remarkable frame of tinted surfaces and light bands has been restored. The palace garden is surrounded by remains of the former enclosure wall.
