List of the subcamps of the Flossenbürg concentration camp
The list of subcamps of the Flossenbürg concentration camp contains all known subcamps of the Flossenbürg concentration camp . According to the scientific status of 2020 , the main camp located in the Upper Palatinate Forest near Weiden had 77 satellite camps assigned to the Flossenbürg Concentration Camp Memorial during the Nazi era . The widely ramified camp system extended from the spring of 1942 between Würzburg in the west and Prague in the east, northern Saxony and Lower Bavaria in the south. Around 100,000 people were imprisoned in the main camp and the satellite camps between 1938 and 1945, including at least 16,000 women. At least 30,000 prisoners died.
