Vorderhaslach is located in the district of Nürnberger Land in the state of Bavaria and is a part of the municipality of Happurg . It is the highest district of Happurg am Bernbühl. A community of three families lives on the Jura plateau on a formerly dilapidated farm that was renovated in 1990. Since then, the families have been farming their land according to biodynamic principles. Mainly bread grain cultivation, suckler cow husbandry with young animal pasture, vegetable cultivation and forestry are operated.

The wasteland is on the way from Deckersberg to Breitenbrunn. Neighboring towns are Deckersberg , Breitenbrunn , Mosenhof and Hinterhaslach .
