Gatchrypsch ( Abkhazian Гьечрыԥшь / G'etschryṗsch ' , Russian Гячрыпш / Gjachrypsch , Georgian ლესელიძე / Getschripschi ) is an urban settlement in Abkhazia . Gatchrypsch is located on the Black Sea , 14 kilometers from Gagra .
During the time of the Soviet Union , in 1944, the place was named Lesselidze - after a general of the German-Soviet War ( Konstantin Lesselidze , 1903-1944). In 1992, the site was returned to the old name, which he wore to the 19th century, when he in the Russian Empire in ever Jermolowka (Russian: Ермоловка ) has been renamed.
