The formerly independent village Lohe is since 1923 a district of Nuremberg and forms Almoshof the Statistical District 75 .

geography

Lohe is located in the north of Nuremberg in Knoblauchsland and is bordered by Flughafenstrasse in the east, Marienbergstrasse in the south and Nuremberg Airport in the north . Neighboring towns are Kleinreuth behind the Veste in the south and Almoshof in the west, with which Lohe has grown structurally.

history

The place goes back to a clearing by the Lords of Stein, later belonged to the Nuremberg burgraves and was placed under the office of the fortress in 1427. The village was destroyed in the First Margrave War.

The high court belonged to that of the imperial city of Nuremberg and was exercised by the Oberamt Baiersdorf . Both lines of the Tucher ruled the village and the community ( manorial rule ) .

In 1796 Lohe was placed under the administration of Prussia and in 1810 handed over to the Kingdom of Bavaria . From 1813 it was part of the Kraftshof tax district and since 1818 an independent municipality that was incorporated into Nuremberg on November 1, 1923 .
