history
The oldest evidence for the village of Crotenbach goes back to 1267 . The caste office in Schwabach and the Klarenamt shared rulership in the village and community. In terms of parish law, Krottenbach belonged to Dietersdorf . The Prussians occupied the settlement in 1796 , and in 1806 it became Bavarian. In 1808 the village merged with Mühlhof and Oberdeutenbach and Unterdeutenbach to form a tax district and in 1818 to form the municipality of Deutenbach . In 1922 Krottenbach and Mühlhof were incorporated into Nuremberg. In 1950, coins were found in Krottenbach that had been buried in 1443 .
