Zollhaus is a district of Nuremberg in district 37 ( Langwasser Südwest ) in statistical district 3 “Südostliche Außenstadt” in the south of the 3440 district .
Geographical location
The desert is at the southern end of the street "Am Zollhaus", which is part of the state road 2225 (Nuremberg - Allersberg ). The wasteland lies in the middle of a wooded area in the Langwasser district of Nuremberg. Adjacent to the south is the Kleinschwarzenlohe forest , a municipality-free area in the Roth district of Central Franconia .
history
Towards the end of the 18th century there was 1 property in Zollhaus. The high court and the manorial power exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach judge office Kornburg . Until 1806 it was a margravial Ansbach customs station, and there was also an inn there. Officially the wasteland was called "Oberlangenlohe".
As part of the municipal edict , in 1808 Zollhaus was assigned to the Großschwarzenlohe tax district , Section II. It belonged to the rural community Kleinschwarzenlohe formed in 1818 .
Starting from the breakpoint Nuremberg-Zollhaus southeast of the marshalling yard was the old name customs house, which is also in two street names of District 375 Langwasser Southwest survives (Zollhausstraße, in customs house), to the west of the Rangierbahnhofsiedlung resulting Park Condominium Zollhaus transmitted. In the time of the imperial city, the Nuremberg toll hall was also called the customs house after the customs and weighing office located there.
On May 1, 1978, Zollhaus was incorporated into Nuremberg as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
The town's restaurant is still a popular destination today.
