Oberamt Baiersdorf
The Oberamt Baiersdorf was one of the 13 administrative areas of the Principality of Bayreuth . It was formed in 1698.

The Fraisch between the imperial city of Nuremberg and the Oberamt Baiersdorf was disputed in a number of places .
From 1791/92 the Principality of Bayreuth was administered by the Prussian state as Ansbach-Bayreuth . With that the Oberamt Baiersdorf became part of the Erlangen district .
