history

The place was first mentioned in the Würzburg Lehenbuch from 1303 as "Uetsteten". The defining word of the place name is Ueti, Udi, Utz (nickname for Ulrich), the personal name of the place founder. Konrad Graf von Flügelau was recorded as a fiefdom holder. Like many other places in this area, the place was planned by the Würzburg monastery in the 10th century. In addition to Würzburg, the Schlüsselberg feudal lords , as can be seen from a document from 1330, in which Konrad von Schlüsselberg transferred the estate of Ulrich von Aisch to the Schlüsselau monastery . Further fiefs were the Michelsberg Monastery and the Frauenaurach Monastery .

At the end of the 18th century there were 15 properties in Uttstadt. The high court was exercised by the Bamberg center Bechhofen . The Bamberg caste office in Schlüsselau was in charge of the village and community . The landlords were the bishopric of Bamberg ( Kastenamt Bechhofen : 1 inn with brewery, 1 estate; Kastenamt Schlüsselau: 2 half-yards, 1 estate, 2 half-estate, 1 Sölde , 1 little house; monastery office Gremsdorf : 1 estate), the Brandenburg-Bavaria monastery office Frauenaurach (1st floor ) Gut), and the Schönborn rule in Pommersfelden (2 estates, 1 Sölde). There was also the shepherd's house, which was used by the entire community.

As part of the community edict, Uttstadt was assigned to the Adelsdorf tax district formed in 1808 . In 1818 the place was assigned to the rural community of Zentbechhofen , in 1820 it was reorganized to Gremsdorf and on September 8, 1854, it was reorganized to Aisch . In the voluntary jurisdiction, 2 properties were subordinate to the Pommersfelden Patrimonial Court (until 1848).

On July 1, 1971, Uttstadt was incorporated into the Adelsdorf community as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
