Administrative Authority Erlangen

The Amtshauptmannschaft Erlangen was one of the 13 administrative areas of the Principality of Bayreuth . It was formed in 1708. From 1791/92 the Principality of Bayreuth was administered by the Prussian state as Ansbach-Bayreuth . With this, the Erlangen administration was incorporated into the Erlangen district .

location

The Erlangen administration bordered in the west on the Bamberg center office Herzogenaurach , in the north and east on the Oberamt Baiersdorf , in the south on the imperial city of Nuremberg and in the southeast on the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Cadolzburg .

structure

The Fraisch district only extended to Erlangen and Alterlangen . The manorial claims were administered by the caste office in Erlangen and the monastery office in Frauenaurach.

The Erlangen caste office was only wealthy in Erlangen.

Frauenaurach monastery office

The Frauenaurach Monastery Office administered the property of the Frauenaurach Monastery , which was secularized in the 16th century.

The Frauenaurach monastery office had manorial claims in the following places: Bonersberg , Bremenhof , Bruck , Burghaslach , Dietersdorf , Fetzelhofen , Lauf , Leutenbach , Mailach , Mittelehrenbach , Möhrendorf , Neunkirchen am Brand , Oberehrenbach , Ochsenschenkel , Regelsbach , Reinersdorf , Schallershof , Sechselbach, Zentbechhofen .
