The Oberamt Osternohe was an administrative area of ​​the Principality of Bayreuth , which was ruled by a branch line of the Hohenzollern until 1791/92 . It formed an exclave to which the village of Hohenstadt belonged to another exclave. It was established in 1694 and existed until 1766. After that it was part of the Oberamt Creußen .

The following places were subordinate to the Oberamt: Algersdorf , Altensittenbach , Bondorf , Entmersberg , Germersberg , Haidling , Hohenstadt , Kreuzbühl , Laitsing, Obermühle , Osternohe , Reckenberg , Reingrub , Schloßberg , Speikern , Steinensittenbach , Vorderer Viehberg and Waizmannsdorf .
