The village of Kreuzbühl is a district of the Middle Franconian market Schnaittach and has a predominantly rural character. All around are the mountains Pfaffenschlag (520 m), Hienberg (550 m), Weßlberg (544 m) and Altenberg (555 m). The neighboring towns are Simmelsdorf, Osternohe, Schloßberg, Bondorf and Poppenhof. The place is on the Osternoher Bach as well as near the federal highway 9 and belongs to the district Osternohe.
