history

The place is mentioned around 1280 as Haerdrichstorf , around 1300 as Hedrischtorf . The name means "village of a Haderich". Due to the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , Hedersdorf became an independent rural community with the second municipal edict in 1818, which also included the hamlets of Kleinbellhofen , Lochhof and Poppenhof , as well as the wasteland Lohmühle . In the course of the communal territorial reform in Bavaria carried out in the 1970s , the entire municipality of Hedersdorf was incorporated into the Schnaittach market. In 2017 Hedersdorf had 177 inhabitants.
