The hamlet Frohnhof is a district of the Middle Franconian market Schnaittach on the Hersbrucker Alb . Frohnhof comes from Herrenhof, just like Corpus Christi means "body of the Lord". The first written mention goes back to the year 1280. From the document you can see that there was only one farm at that time. Frohnhof, east of the federal highway 9 , has a predominantly rural character and has around 15 agricultural buildings and houses. Immediately to the east is the Hammerbühl elevation (541 m) and to the north the Hormersdorfer Höhe (562 m). The neighboring towns are Götzlesberg , Hormersdorf , Steinensittenbach , Obermühle , Algersdorf , Entmersberg , Schloßberg and Haidling .
