The Einöde Lochhof is a district of the Middle Franconian market Schnaittach with a predominantly rural character.

To the north is the Alte Rothenberg (505 m) and to the south the Schnaittach and Konradsbühl (395 m). In the north, a large forest area joins the place. The Lochhof consists of only two buildings and has two small ponds. It is located near the A 9 motorway and belongs to the Hedersdorf district. The access road leads first from the state road St 2241 along the A 9, then in a north-westerly direction uphill towards Lochhof.

The neighboring towns are Simmelsdorf , Au, Poppenhof , Hedersdorf , Schnaittach , Kleinbellhofen , Großbellhofen , Weigensdorf and Röhrischhof .

The Lochhof was originally a farm belonging to the castle on the Old Rothenberg . It served the maintenance of the castle residents there.

Up until the municipality reform , Lochhof was part of the municipality of Hedersdorf, which was incorporated into Schnaittach in 1971.
