The village of Laipersdorf is a district of the market Schnaittach in the central Franconian district of Nürnberger Land .

location

The place is 5 km northwest of Schnaittach. The Krebsbach , later called Mühlbach , rises to the south , a tributary of the Schwabach . There is an industrial area in the north.

history

In 1356 the Laipersdorf is mentioned as "Leuperstorf", which probably means "village of a Luitbrecht". The place has belonged to the Rothenberg lordship since the Middle Ages . Before the municipal reform , Laipersdorf was part of the formerly independent municipality of Germersberg. In 1971 this was incorporated into Schnaittach.

Agriculture and infrastructure

Laipersdorf is known for growing hops and fruit. On the right you can see a hop field shortly before the harvest, which begins at the beginning of October.

Traditionally carp are bred in the surrounding ponds.

State road St 2236, the newly created connecting road between Herpersdorf and Schnaittach, runs north of Laipersdorf .
