Zentbechhofen is a district of the city of Höchstadt an der Aisch in the Erlangen-Höchstadt district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The Haidweihergraben ( called Aischgraben in the lower reaches ), a left tributary of the Aisch, flows south of the parish village . In the north are the forest areas Zentschlag , Galgenholz and Pfaffenholz , in the southwest the forest areas Großlindig and Hängig . Immediately to the east is the Weingarten corridor , immediately to the south the Bürstig corridor area .

history

The place was first mentioned in a document in 1109 in the foundation letter of St. Jakob in Bamberg . Originally the place was called "Linhardsbechhofen". Between 1304 and 1327 the acquired Bishopric of Bamberg , the key Bergisch shares Zentbechhofen. During the same period, the Lords of Hohenlohe-Brauneck sold their property. In 1317 they sold the wood above the village to the Bamberg mayor Friedrich Zollner and Eberhard Gross the cellar of St. Jakob. In 1341 they gave the Schlüsselau monastery five fiefdoms, and in 1357 one more estate. In 1322 a church was first mentioned here, which was a branch of Seussling . In 1455 St. Leonhard was raised to a parish. Since 1478, the place was the seat of a cent court , which had previously been in Schnaid . During the Thirty Years' War the place was largely spared.

At the end of the 18th century there were 38 properties in Zentbechhofen. The high court was exercised by the Bamberg center Bechhofen . The village and township government had the box office Bechhofen held. In 1802 Zentbechhofen came to Bavaria . As part of the community edict in 1808 that was tax district Zentbechhofen made to the Fallmeisterei , Förtsch wind , Greuth and Young Hofen belonged. With the second community edict (1818) the following rural communities were formed:

The municipality of Zentbechhofen was under the administration and jurisdiction of the district court of Höchstadt and of the financial administration of the Rentamt Höchstadt . Already in 1820 Uttstadt was reassigned to Gremsdorf . From 1862, Zentbechhofen was administered by the district office of Höchstadt an der Aisch (renamed the district of Höchstadt an der Aisch in 1938 ) and continued to be administered by the rent office of Höchstadt (1920–1929: tax office Höchstadt , from 1929: tax office Forchheim ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court of Höchstadt until 1879, 1880–1959 district court of Höchstadt , from 1959 district court of Forchheim . On January 1, 1972, Zentbechhofen was incorporated into the town of Höchstadt an der Aisch as part of the regional reform .
