The village lies on the Birkach , which is a left tributary of the Aisch and feeds a chain of ponds mainly northwest of the place. In the south are the fields of semolina and welfare , in the east the Angerleiten . In the wider area, the place is surrounded by forest: in the west peasant wood and Waldspitze , in the north-west Bamberg wood , in the north Limbach wood and in the east Leitenholz .

history

In 1313 the place was first mentioned in the Bamberg Castle Hat Register as "Nachendorff". Tungsten and Dietrich Steward of Nainsdorf had at that time in two hooves as personal property . They gave this to the Bamberg Bishop Wulfing von Stubenberg as a fief. In the Bamberg land register of 1348, four fiefs were recorded for the place. The Bamberg bishop held the bailiwick . Gerhaus Hopfner from Höchstadt owned five fields in Nackendorf's estate. In 1379 he donated it to the parish of Höchstadt for an Eternal Light . Since 1547 the Nuremberg patricians Zollner von Brand and since 1597 the Schlüsselfelder had manorial claims in Nackendorf; In 1612 there were a little castle and seven fiefs. After the Thirty Years War the place was depopulated. In 1713 the Counts of Schönborn bought the tithe from Johann Philipp Stang, who was canon of the Bamberg Collegiate Foundation of St. Gangolf . In 1742 a chapel was built; it belonged to the parish of Höchstadt.

At the end of the 18th century there were 16 properties in Nackendorf. The high court was exercised by the Bamberg center of Höchstadt . The village and community rulership was held by the caste office in Höchstadt . The landlords were the Kastenamt Höchstadt (3 farms, 2 estates, 8 Gütlein, brickworks), the Brandenburg-Bayreuthische Kasten and Jurisdiktionsamt Dachsbach (1 estate) and the parish Höchstadt (1 Sölde ).

As part of the community edict, Nackendorf was assigned to the Schirnsdorf tax district, formed in 1808 . In the same year the rural community Schirnsdorf was formed, to which the place belonged.

On July 1, 1974, Nackendorf was incorporated into the town of Höchstadt an der Aisch as part of the regional reform .
