Mohrhof is a district of the town of Höchstadt an der Aisch in the Erlangen-Höchstadt district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The solitude lies on the Mohrhofgraben, which feeds the Mohrhofweiher immediately to the southwest of the village and the Großer Weiher in the northeast, which is part of the Biengartner Weiherplatte nature reserve . Approx. 0.5 km south of the village there is a forest area called Mohrholz and Hegnichtswald.

history

At the end of the 18th century, Mohrhof consisted of one property. The high court was exercised by the Bamberg center of Höchstadt . Winkler von Mohrenfels was the landlord of the farm .

As part of the community edict , Mohrhof was assigned to the Kairlindach tax district, formed in 1811 . In 1813 the rural community Kairlindach was formed, to which the place belonged. With the second community edict (1818) it was re-ceded to the newly formed rural community Hesselberg .

On May 1, 1978 Mohrhof was incorporated into the town of Höchstadt an der Aisch as part of the regional reform .

The residents of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination are parish to St. Kilian (Kairlindach) , the residents of the Roman Catholic denomination are parish after the birth of Mary (Hannberg) .

traffic

A communal road leads to Biengarten (1.3 km northwest) and Hesselberg (1.8 km east). Another communal road runs to Poppenwind (1.5 km north).
