Biengartner Weiherplatte
The Biengartner Weiherplatte , NSG -00167.01 Vogelfreistätte Weihergebiet near Mohrhof , is a lake district with about 70 artificial lakes near Gremsdorf in Franconia , in the Biengarten district of the municipality of Höchstadt an der Aisch .
The lakes are mainly used to raise carp . In the meantime, however, a nature reserve for plants and animals has also developed here, which has been designated as a nature reserve. It is managed by the Biengarten pond cooperative . The Weiherplatte is one of Franconia's bird paradises.
The largest pond is the large line pond with about 16 hectares of water.
