Lappach is a district of the town of Höchstadt an der Aisch in the Erlangen-Höchstadt district in Middle Franconia .
geography
The village is located on the Lappachgraben, a right tributary of the Schwarzenbach , which in turn is a right tributary of the Aisch . The place is surrounded by ponds. In the west at Lerchenberg ( 280 m above sea level ) there are the Lerchenbergweiher , in the north the Bachwiesenweiher , in the east the Schwägelweiher and in the southeast some more nameless ponds. Otherwise, the area consists of arable and grassland.
history
The place was first mentioned in 1285 as "Leytbach". The bishopric of Bamberg was the feudal lord of the place . According to the fief book of 1348, which was created at the time of Bishop Friedrich I von Hohenlohe , there were several landlords in “Laitpach” . The bishopric only owned one farm, on which a certain Bernger was sitting at the time. Two courtyards belonged to the castle chapel in Höchstadt. From this one could deduce that Lappach originally belonged to the rule of the Counts of Höchstadt. These courtyards were alienated from the custodian Eberhard von St. Gangolf in Bamberg, but remained in the possession of the castle chapel. The Bamberg Vogteirecht over these farms was disputed.
Towards the end of the 18th century there were 12 properties and a community shepherd's house in Lappach. The high court was exercised by the Bamberg center of Höchstadt . The village and community rulership was held by the caste office in Höchstadt . The landlords were the Kastenamt Höchstadt (1 estate, 1 Hube , 1 little house), the Nuremberg owner , öffelholz (4 estates), the Brandenburg-Bayreuth monastery office in Frauenaurach (2 estates) and the early mass in Höchstadt (2 half yards).
As part of the community edict , Lappach was assigned to the Sterpersdorf tax district formed in 1808 . It belonged to the rural community of Schwarzenbach, founded in 1818 . In the voluntary jurisdiction, 4 properties were subordinate to the Freiherhorn Löffelholz (until 1812).
On May 1, 1978, Lappach was incorporated into the city of Höchstadt an der Aisch as part of the regional reform .
