history

Right from the start, high and low jurisdiction lay with the bishopric of Bamberg . In the place Lonnerstadt ministries were wealthy, such as B. from a document from 1408, in which the sale of a farm is mentioned. The Lonnerstadt claims reached the imperial city of Nuremberg via many detours . In the 18th century, half of the tithe belonged to Ailersbach in the imperial city of Nuremberg, while the other half belonged to the Margraviate of Bayreuth . The Martinskapelle, current branch church, was built in 1468. During the Reformation disputes arose between the Protestant parish of Lonnerstadt and the Catholic parish of Höchstadt over the affiliation of Ailersbach. In 1612, all but one of the families on the town's eight fiefdoms were Lutheran. After long disputes, a treaty between the imperial city of Nuremberg and the Würzburg bishop Johann Philipp Franz von Schönborn ended the dispute in 1701 by granting Höchstadt all parish rights to Ailersbach.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were six properties and a community shepherd's house in Ailersbach. The high court exercised the Bamberg Centamt Höchstadt , but this was contested by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste and jurisdiction office Dachsbach . The village and community rulership was held by the office of Höchstadt , which was also the sole landlord of the six estates .

As part of the community edict , Ailersbach was assigned to the Kairlindach tax district formed in 1811 . In 1813 the rural community Kairlindach was formed, to which the place belonged. With the second community edict (1818) it was re-incorporated into the newly formed rural community Boxbrunn .

On May 1, 1978, Ailersbach was incorporated into the town of Höchstadt an der Aisch as part of the regional reform .
