Kairlindach is a district of the Weisendorf market in the Erlangen-Höchstadt district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The parish village is located in the Aischgrund . In the village the Wolfsbach, Auweiherbach and Litzenaugraben flow together to form the Lindach, which is a right tributary of the Mohrbach , which in turn is a left tributary of the Seebach . The Auweiherbach feeds the Kirch- and Kairlindachweiher immediately south of the village. Otherwise, the place is immediately surrounded by arable land and grassland with isolated trees. In the north the corridor is called Pfarrfeld. In the southwest there is the Lerchenknock ( 307  m above sea level ), in the south the Hummelberg ( 312  m above sea level ).

history

The place was created in the course of the Würzburg settlement colonization. The feudal lord was the Hochstift Würzburg . Originally the place was called Lindach. The place name is derived from a water body of the same name, the defining word of which is linden , meaning a stream that was lined with linden trees at that time. To better distinguish it from the nearby Ober- and Niederlindach , possibly spin-offs from Kairlindach, the place was given the addition Kair- , which is probably derived from Kira (= church). In 1317 the Reichsministeriale Herdegen von Gründlach was a fief in the place. In 1379 the Kairlindach church was already a parish church . The parish rights seemed to have been lost again in the following years and were only regained in the 16th century after the Reformation arrived in 1528. During the Thirty Years War , the village and the church were devastated and largely deserted. Only in 1688 there were 26 inhabited houses again.

At the end of the 18th century there were 36 properties in Kairlindach. The high court and the village and community rule exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste and jurisdiction office Dachsbach . The sole landlord was Brandenburg-Bayreuth: KJA Dachsbach (church, parsonage, 7 estates, 1 forge, 1 drip property , 3 houses), Uehlfeld administration (1 courtyard, 1 half courtyard, 2 quarter courtyards, 1 tavern, 5 estates, 5 houses, 3 drip houses , 2 houses, community shepherd's house, synagogue). An inn with a brewery was jointly subordinate to the two administrative units.

In 1810 Kairlindach came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the municipal edict, the Kairlindach tax district was formed in 1811 , to which Ailersbach , Biengarten , Boxbrunn , Hesselberg , Mechelwind , Mohrhof , Oberlindach , Rezelsdorf , Sauerheim , Schmiedelberg and Sintmann belonged. In 1813 the following rural communities were formed:

  • Rural community of Kairlindach with Ailersbach, Biengarten, Boxbrunn, Hesselberg, Mechelwind, Mohrhof, Oberlindach and Schmiedelberg
  • Rural community Sauerheim with Mitteldorf, Rezelsdorf and Sintmann

With the second community edict (1818), the rural community of Kairlindach was split into:

  • Boxbrunn rural community with Ailersbach, Biengarten and Mechelwind
  • Rural community Hesselberg with Mohrhof
  • Kairlindach rural community
  • Rural community of Oberlindach and Schmiedelberg

The municipality Kairlindach shelter in administration and jurisdiction of the district court Neustadt and in the financial administration of the bursary Neustadt . On July 12, 1827, the community was assigned to the Herzogenaurach Regional Court , and finally to the Herzogenaurach Rent Office on October 1, 1847 . From 1862 Kairlindach was administered by the district office of Höchstadt an der Aisch (renamed the district of Höchstadt an der Aisch in 1938 ) and continued by the rent office of Herzogenaurach (1920–1929: Finanzamt Herzogenaurach , from 1929: Finanzamt Erlangen ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court of Herzogenaurach until 1879, 1880–1959 district court of Herzogenaurach , from 1959 district court of Erlangen . The municipality had an area of 4,770 km².

On May 1, 1978, Kairlindach was incorporated into the community of Weisendorf as part of the regional reform .
