Oberlindach is a district of the Weisendorf market in the Erlangen-Höchstadt district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The village is surrounded by a large number of ponds: in the northwest they are called the Rippelsweiher, in the west the Wert- and Leeritzenweiher and in the northeast the Oberlindacher Weiher. The ponds are fed by a widespread network of brooks, which ultimately all drain into the Seebach as left tributaries between Weisendorf and Großenseebach . In the south-west of the place is mainly arable and grassland with a few trees. This corridor is called Schloßberg. Approx. 1 kilometer northwest beyond the pond there is a contiguous forest area (namely Hohe Wart, Lindenholz, Egelsee and Schmiedelberger Holz).

history

The Bamberg monastery was the original fiefdom of the place. As early as 1398, two estates belonged to the Kreß von Kressenstein family from Nuremberg . Around 1420 the village consisted of 11 farms. In 1434 three of the farms were owned by the Burgraviate of Nuremberg . In 1461 the Nuremberg citizen Johann Igelthaler donated a court for the early mass in Hannberg . From 1547 this farm belonged to the Landalmosenamt Nürnberg. In 1504 the village was mostly Nuremberg , two estates belonged to Balthasar von Seckendorff , the lord of the castle of Weisendorf, two to the Frauenaurach monastery and three to the Brandenburg-Kulmbach office of Dachsbach , which at that time also exercised high jurisdiction and village rule. In 1665 village rules were set for Oberlindach and Schmiedelberg.

At the end of the 18th century there were 14 properties in Oberlindach. The high court and the village and community rulership continued to be exercised by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste and jurisdiction office in Dachsbach . Landlords were Brandenburg-Bayreuth (KJA Dachsbach: 2 courtyards, 1 blacksmith, 1 shepherd's house; Oberamt Baiersdorf : 2 estates; Klosteramt Frauenaurach : 2 estates); the state charity office of the imperial city of Nuremberg: 1 good; Nuremberg owners (von Furtenbach: 1 good; vonöffelholz : 1 good); the Weisendorf manor : 1 manor , 1 drip house ; the early mass in Herzogenaurach: 1 good.

In 1810 Oberlindach came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the community edict , the place was assigned to the Kairlindach tax district formed in 1811 . In 1813 the rural community of Kairlindach was formed, to which Oberlindach also belonged. With the second community edict (1818) Oberlindach became its own rural community, to which Schmiedelberg belonged. The municipality of Oberlindach was under the administration and jurisdiction of the district court Neustadt an der Aisch and the financial administration of the Neustadt an der Aisch rent office . In the voluntary jurisdiction, two properties in Oberlindach were subordinate to the patrimonial court Weisendorf (until 1848), another property belonging to Freiherr von Volckamer (until 1811) Schmiedelberg was subject to the PG Weisendorf in the voluntary jurisdiction. On July 12, 1827, the Oberlindach community was assigned to the Herzogenaurach Regional Court and the Erlangen Rent Office, and finally to the Herzogenaurach Rent Office on October 1, 1847 . From 1862 Oberlindach was administered by the district office of Höchstadt an der Aisch (renamed the district of Höchstadt an der Aisch in 1938 ) and continued by the rent office of Herzogenaurach (1920–1929: Finanzamt Herzogenaurach , from 1929: Finanzamt Erlangen ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court of Herzogenaurach until 1879, 1880–1959 district court of Herzogenaurach , from 1959 district court of Erlangen . The municipality had an area of 7.806 km².

On May 1, 1978, Oberlindach was incorporated into the community of Weisendorf as part of the regional reform .
