Nankendorf is a district of the Weisendorf market in the Erlangen-Höchstadt district in Middle Franconia .

geography

A nameless brook flows south of the village , which feeds a chain of ponds and flows as a left tributary into the Welkenbach, which in turn is a left tributary of the Middle Aurach . In the northeast lies the Reuther Forest. Approx. 1 km southwest of the Dachsknock ( 367  m above sea level ) rises in a wooded area . In the north is the forest area Am Teufelsgraben.

history

The place is definitely a Bamberg clearing of the 11th / 12th. Century. It was first mentioned in a document in 1428. In the certificate it was confirmed that the gentlemen from Maienthal zu Neuenbürg had sold their allodial to the Nuremberg patricians Rieter von Kornburg . With their extinction in 1753, their property came to the imperial city of Nuremberg .

Towards the end of the 18th century, Nankendorf consisted of just one property. The high court exercised the Bamberg center office Herzogenaurach . The lord of the court was the hospital office of the imperial city of Nuremberg .

As part of the community edict, Nankendorf was assigned to the Hammerbach tax district formed in 1811 , and to the newly formed Hammerbach rural community in 1818 .

On January 1, 1972, Nankendorf was incorporated into the community of Weisendorf as part of the regional reform .

religion

The place was originally purely Catholic and parish to St. Magdalena (Herzogenaurach) , with the founding of the St. Josef Curate (Weisendorf) in the late 19th century. The inhabitants of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination are parish in the Evangelical Lutheran parish church (Weisendorf) .

The national road 2263 goes according Hammerbach (2.5 km south-east) and by way village (km north 1.3). The district road ERH 13 runs to Buch (1.2 km south).
