history

The place was first mentioned in 1348 in the Bamberg Urbar as "Reynhartsdorff". The bishopric of Bamberg was the feudal lord . The Bamberg Cathedral Provost was the tenant for five estates, along with Marquard and Johannes Aurach. In the 16th century, the majority of the cathedral provost property passed to the Lords of Neuenbürg. From the 17th century these goods were then also a free self of the Lords of Neuenbürg. During the Thirty Years' War the place was burned down by the Croatian mercenaries of Count Tilly in 1632.

At the end of the 18th century there were 11 properties in Reinersdorf. The high court exercised the Bamberg center office Herzogenaurach . The village and township government had the manor Neuenbuerg held. The landlords were the Bamberg Monastery ( caste office Herzogenaurach : 1 estate , Dompropsteiamt Büchenbach : 1 estate), Brandenburg-Bayreuth ( Klosteramt Frauenaurach : 2 estates) and the Neuenbürg manor: 5 courtyards, 1 estate. There was also a community shepherd's house.

In 1810 Reinersdorf came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the municipal edict , the place was assigned to the Hammerbach tax district formed in 1811 . With the second community edict (1818) the rural community of Reinersdorf was formed, to which Neuenbürg and Reuth belonged. The administration and jurisdiction of the municipality of Reinersdorf was subordinate to the regional court of Höchstadt and the financial administration to the Erlangen rent office . In the voluntary jurisdiction and the local police, the entire community was subordinate to the Neuenbürg Patrimonial Court (until 1848). On January 16, 1825, Reuth was reassigned to Hammerbach. On October 1, 1847, the financial management was taken over by the Rentamt Herzogenaurach . From 1862 Reinersdorf was administered by the district office of Höchstadt an der Aisch (renamed the district of Höchstadt an der Aisch in 1938 ) and continued by the rent office of Herzogenaurach (1920–1929: Finanzamt Herzogenaurach , from 1929: Finanzamt Erlangen ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court of Herzogenaurach until 1879, 1880–1959 district court of Herzogenaurach , from 1959 district court of Erlangen . The municipality had an area of 1,821 km².

On January 1, 1972, Reinersdorf was incorporated into the community of Weisendorf as part of the regional reform .
