The District Court of Herzogenaurach was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1959 and was based in the city of Herzogenaurach .

history

Herzogenaurach was already the seat of a court of the Bamberg bishopric . In the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria, the Herzogenaurach Regional Court was established in 1812 . On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was set up in Herzogenaurach, the district of which was formed from the district of the Herzogenaurach Regional Court, which was repealed at the same time . Downgraded to a branch in the Second World War, it was finally repealed in 1959 and assigned to the Erlangen District Court .
