The district court of Hersbruck is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of 73 district courts in Bavaria .

history

The Hersbruck District Court was established in 1879 from the Hersbruck District Court of the older order, which had existed since 1808 . In 1973 the neighboring district court of Lauf an der Pegnitz was closed and assigned to the district court of Hersbruck.

Superior courts

The District Court of Nuremberg-Fürth is superordinate to the District Court of Hersbruck , both of which in turn belong to the district of the Nuremberg Higher Regional Court .

Courthouse

The district court is located on Schloßplatz , on the southern edge of the old town of Hersbruck and is housed in the buildings of the listed Hersbruck Castle.
