Mailach is a district of the Lonnerstadt market in the Erlangen-Höchstadt district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The village is located directly on the left bank of the Aisch . The place lies in a wide valley and is surrounded by arable land and grassland with a few trees. In the west the corridor is called Lehmgrube, in the north Edelgraben and in the northeast Boden.

history

The place was first mentioned in a document in 1327 when the Bamberg Monastery gave the Lonnerstädter ministerial a fiefdom in the place. In 1348 the land register of the bishopric reported that a main courtyard had been alienated by the burgraviate of Nuremberg . The fact that the burgraviate was also a feudal lord in the village can be seen from the burgrave's land register 1361/64. The county of Castell was also a feudal lord at this time. In 1358 it was recorded that Hermann III. lent a court to Castell . In 1408 Konrad von Lonnerstadt sold his possessions to Nuremberg patricians . The place was badly hit by the Thirty Years' War - but above all by a wave of plague in 1627.

At the end of the 18th century there were 28 properties in Mailach. The high court exercised the Bamberg Centamt Höchstadt , but this was disputed by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste and jurisdiction office in Dachsbach . The caste and jurisdiction office Dachsbach exercised the village and community rule. The landlords were the Hochstift Bamberg ( Amt Höchstadt : 1 courtyard, 2 estates), Brandenburg-Bayreuth (KJA Dachsbach: 3 estates; Klosteramt Frauenaurach : 1 estate, 1 Hofrait , 1 little house; Uehlfeld administration : 1 forge, 1 tavern, 1 drip house ) , the imperial city of Nuremberg (Landesalmosenamt-Vogtei Lonnerstadt: 1 yard, 1 Sölde ; Spitalamt : 1 yard, 1 estate), Nuremberg owners ( from Behaim : 1 mill, 1 estate, 1 Sölde, von Gugel : 1 estate, von Haller : 1 Gut, von Marstaller: 1 house), Grafschaft Castell ( Burghaslach : 1 Sölde), the Schönborn rule Pommersfelden (1 good), Parish Höchstadt (1 Sölde), Parish Uehlfeld (1 Sölde), Parish Lonnerstadt (1 Sölde) . The community had 1 house.

In 1810 Mailach came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the municipal edict , the place was assigned to the Uehlfeld tax district formed in 1811 . In 1813 the rural community Mailach was formed, to which Sichardshof , Voggendorf and Weidendorf belonged. With the second community edict (1818) Voggendorf was re-grouped into the newly formed rural community Demantsfürth . The municipality of Mailach was subordinate to the regional court Neustadt an der Aisch in administration and jurisdiction and in the financial administration to the Rentamt Neustadt an der Aisch . In Mailach, one property was subject to the patrimonial court of Pommersfelden (until 1848) and one property to the Burghaslach court (until 1849). In 1840 the wasteland Fallhaus is mentioned. On October 1, 1857, the municipality of Mailach was assigned to the Hochstadt district court and the Höchstadt rent office . From 1862 Mailach was administered by the district office of Höchstadt an der Aisch (renamed the district of Höchstadt an der Aisch in 1938 ) and continued to be administered by the rent office of Höchstadt (1920–1929: tax office Höchstadt , from 1929: tax office Forchheim ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court of Höchstadt until 1879, 1880–1959 district court of Höchstadt , from 1959 district court of Forchheim . In 1961 the municipality had an area of 6.493 km². After 1961, but before 1970, Weidendorf was incorporated into the municipality of Sterpersdorf .

On May 1, 1978 Mailach was incorporated into the Lonnerstadt market as part of the regional reform .
