Demantsfürth is a district of the market Uehlfeld in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Middle Franconia .

geography

The village is on the right bank of the Aisch . There the Weisach flow as a left tributary and the Aschenbach and Altenweihergraben as a right tributary into the Aisch. The Au corridor area lies on the west bank of the Aisch, approx. 0.5 km south of the Rohrmühläcker and the Schwarzweiher.

The place is affected by the federal highway 470 , which leads to Uehlfeld (1 km north) or to Dachsbach (2.7 km south). The district road NEA 1 leads to Peppenhöchstädt (2.4 km east). A community road leads to Voggendorf (1 km northeast).

history

The place was first mentioned in a document in 1344 as "Dymantzfu ^e rt". At that time the imperial city of Nuremberg was wealthy in the place. As from the castle Count Urbar seen the year 1361/64, also was burgrave Nuremberg wealthy in "Dyemutsfurt". They also received half of the major and minor tithe. The castle counts office Dachsbach exercised the Fraisch over the place. The Margraviate Bayreuth became the legal successor to the Burgraviate of Nuremberg in the early 15th century. In 1632 Demantsfürth was looted and pillaged during the Thirty Years War .

At the end of the 18th century there were 21 properties in Demantsfürth. The high court and the village and community rule exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste and jurisdiction office Dachsbach . The landlords were the Dachsbach caste and jurisdiction office (1 estate, 1 Sölde , 3 small houses), the Schönborn rule in Pommersfelden (1 drip house ), the imperial city of Nuremberg (Landesalmosenamt: 1 courtyard, 1 estate, 2 Sölden, 1 half-house; Spitalamt Hl . Geist : 1 yard) and the Nuremberg owner, Löffelholz von Kolberg (6 goods, 3 drip houses).

In 1810 Demantsfürth came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the community edict, Demantsfürth was assigned to the tax district Dachsbach in 1811 . In 1813 it was assigned to the rural community of Dachsbach. With the second community edict (1818) the rural community Demantsfürth was formed, to which the place Voggendorf belonged. It was subordinate to the regional court Neustadt an der Aisch in administration and jurisdiction and in the financial administration to the Rentamt Neustadt an der Aisch (renamed in 1920 to Finanzamt Neustadt an der Aisch ). Until 1848, one property was subject to the voluntary jurisdiction of the Pommelsbrunn Patrimonial Court . From 1862 Demantsfürth was administered by the Neustadt an der Aisch district office ( renamed Neustadt an der Aisch district in 1938 ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court Neustadt an der Aisch until 1879, from 1880 district court Neustadt an der Aisch . The municipality had an area of 3,636 km². On January 1, 1972 Demantsfürth was incorporated into Uehlfeld as part of the regional reform .

The place had a train station on the now disused Neustadt (Aisch) –Demantsfürth-Uehlfeld railway .
