Gottesgab is a district of the market Uehlfeld in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Middle Franconia .

geography

The hamlet is surrounded by the Gottesgabweihern , which is fed by the Wintersbachgraben, which is a right tributary of the Aisch . Approx. The Laubersberg ( 308 m above sea level ) rises 0.75 km to the northeast . A community road leads to Voggendorf (1.4 km to the west) or to Peppenhöchstädt to the district road NEA 1 (1 km to the south).

history

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 4 properties in Gottesgab (castle, farm, sheep farm, 1 estate). The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste and jurisdiction office Dachsbach . The manor Gottesgab held the village and community rulership and the land rulership over all properties.

As part of the community edict , Gottesgab was assigned to the Kairlindach tax district formed in 1811 ; from 1813 it belonged to the tax district and the rural community of Birnbaum . With the second community edict (1818) it was assigned to the newly formed rural community of Peppenhöchstädt . On January 1, 1972, Gottesgab was incorporated into Uehlfeld as part of the regional reform .
