history

In 1369 a Fritz Müller was mentioned "from the long Bruck". This is also the first written mention of the place. The place was named after an elongated bridge over the Schwabach that probably existed at that time. The place was in the Fraisch district of the Nuremberg main team Uttenreuth. The lords of Pappenheim were feudal lords . Lehnsmann was Kunz Langenbrucker (1391 attested). At the property there was the "bike meadow", of four days' work in the area that the Nuremberg patrician Martin Schürstab claimed, against which Hermann Schütz complained in 1395. 1396 suitable Konrad and main marshal of cardboard home one day work of the Radwiese Dominikanerkloster Nürnberg to hold four year days . In 1426 Hermann Zelter received this daily work from the Dominican monastery as a fief. In 1456 the bike meadow was bought back by the Pappenheimers and given to the Neunkirchen am Brand monastery . In 1432 Hans Motter von Eibach and Veit Motter von Eschenau held half of the fiefdom of the Langenbrucker mill. The other half was probably held by Konrad Langenprocker and his son. Half of it went to the Nuremberg citizen Christoph Rothan, who sold it to Georg Haller in 1501. In 1539 the entire fiefdom was in the hands of Joachim Schütz from Hagenbach . As early as 1555, he had to sell this six-day Wiesen plant to Jakob Haller due to overindebtedness . The fiefdom was to remain in the hands of the Hallers until the end of the Old Kingdom . At that time the Fraisch border ran through the place : while the mill was in the area of the Bamberg Centamt Neunkirchen , the barn was in the area of the Brandenburg-Kulmbach Oberamt Baiersdorf , which led to some disputes. The court had rights to the Sebalder Reichswald (1429 to 1812 attested).

Towards the end of the 18th century, Langenbruckermühle consisted of one property. The high court was exercised by the Bamberg center office in Neunkirchen . The landlord was the Bamberg caste office in Neunkirchen .

As part of the community edict (early 19th century), Langenbruckermühle was assigned to the Kalchreuth tax district and the Weiher rural community .

In 1930 the mill was shut down. In 1948 it was demolished and a new mill was built in its place.
