Oberndorf (colloquially: ôbandoʳf ) is a district of the municipality Möhrendorf in the district of Erlangen-Höchstadt in Middle Franconia .

location

The hamlet is located on a right tributary of the Regnitz , which flows 100 meters further east. A service road leads to Möhrendorf (0.6 km northwest).

history

The place was first mentioned in 1340 as "Oberndorf". The manor originally belonged to the von Seckendorff family . In 1375 they sold it to the Nuremberg patrician Leupold Schürstab . In 1540 it finally came to the Tucher . The place was in the Fraisch district of the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Oberamt Baiersdorf . In addition to the manor there were two farmhouses and a sheep farm.

As part of the municipality Edict (early 19th century) Oberdorf was the control district and Rural community Möhrendorf assigned.
