history

The mill was probably built around 1100. The name of the mill has changed several times over the years. The place was first mentioned in a document in 1300 as "Fullesackes Mule". The defining word of the place name is probably the family name of the former owner (Fullesack). In 1391 the Nuremberg patricians Geuder had manorial claims to the "Oedmühle". Hermann Wüst owned it in 1439 and was named after him. It was finally owned by the Minderlein family around 1500 and was named after them. In 1609 the Geuder claims were transferred to the Wildenstein and finally to the Egloffstein . The high court was exercised by the Nuremberg court Heroldsberg until 1583 . Since then, it has been claimed by both Brandenburg-Kulmbach and the Bamberg Monastery. In 1778 the mill was in the Fraisch district of the Bamberg center of Neunkirchen , while the day laborer's house was in the Fraisch district of the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Oberamt Baiersdorf . In 1792, under the Prussian administration of Ansbach-Bayreuth , an attempt was made to incorporate the Bamberg mill into the Baiersdorf camera office.

As part of the community edict (early 19th century), Minderleinsmühle was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Kalchreuth .
