history

The place is a Hohenstaufen royal estate. It was probably first mentioned in a document on January 16, 1343, when the Burgraviate of Nuremberg sold the fortress Gründlach and its parts to the Countess Kunigunde von Orlamünde.

Towards the end of the 18th century, Königsmühle and Kleingründlach formed a community. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach city bailiff Langenzenn . The landlord was the Nuremberg owner von Haller .

As part of the municipal edict, Königsmühle was assigned to the Stadeln tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Stadeln , which was founded in the same year . In voluntary jurisdiction, the place was subject to the patrimonial Großgründlach from 1821 to 1848 .

On July 1, 1972, as part of the regional reform in Bavaria, it was incorporated with Stadeln to Fürth . On January 1, 1977, she was reassigned to Erlangen.
